What is the smoking policy on the Norwegian Pearl?
Public areas throughout all our ships are smoke-free. If you smoke cigarettes, you can do so on your balcony, in the casino or in the Cigar Bar (when available). If you prefer pipes or cigars, you can smoke in the Cigar Bar or designated smoking lounge. Also, you can smoke cigarettes, pipes and cigars outside on open decks (just not around food venues, sports decks, kids’ pool areas and other designated nonsmoking areas). Smoking inside your stateroom will result in a $250 cleaning charge added to your onboard account.
What shore excursions are available and how do I book them?
You can check out the amazing shore excursion opportunities on Norwegian’s website.
In addition to the excursions listed for Tortola, we'll be building custom excurisions to some of the most beautiful beaches on neighboring islands. This will let you enjoy everything the Virgin SIlands has to offer while we are in port. They'll be designed for large groups of 150-500 people, and will allow us to be together with your Cayamo Family. We hope to have these available for purchse in the fall, and will keep you posted.
PLEASE NOTE: You cannot book shore excursions with Norwegian until you are issued a reservation number, which will happen about 4-6 weeks before the cruise sets sail. Once you have been issued the reservation number, you can book excursions online at Norwegian’s website.
How do I pay for on board expenses?
For your convenience, all shipboard expenses are charged to Norwegian's special onboard credit program. Sign up on the first day of your cruise, by establishing your method of payment with Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, Discover®, Diners Club®,travelers checks or cash. If you choose to settle your account with cash, a deposit will be required in advance. You may also use your debit card; however, please be advised that Norwegian obtains pre-authorization which some banks may hold for up to 30 days.

What is the Seat-Saving Etiquette?
Saving seats in any venue on the ship is discouraged. However, we understand when folks need to use the restroom and will be returning quickly. That being said, you will be permitted to hold one seat for a friend or traveling companion in a general admission venue. Once a show starts, we will allow about 15 minutes before our ushers begin to fill empty seats. Thank you for your understanding.
What dining options are available on board?
There is no shortage of food onboard; enjoy a quick snack out by the pool, hit the buffet or enjoy 24 hour room service all included in your cabin price! Certain specialty restaurants are available with either nominal cover charges or fixed price menus and à la carte pricing in addition to the standard dining program.
Additionally, the formal dining rooms offer a nicer, sit-down meal for the times you’re more interested in being waited on. These meals are also included in your cabin price.

Is there internet access onboard?
The Norwegian Pearl is equipped with a 24 hour Internet Café. Give your friends and family back home your personalized email address (printed on your cruise ticket) and stay in touch throughout your cruise. Click here for more information on rates and services.
What is the dress code onboard?
The dress code for Cayamo 2014 is much more relaxed than a normal cruise. We want you to be comfortable! The only thing we ask is that you don't wear bathing suits or ripped clothing in the dining room. There will be one "formal night” though, and you’re welcome to get a little more dressed up for that – but keep in mind it’s more casual than black tie. As we get closer to cruise time, we’ll be announcing several "theme nights" – so be prepared to get creative and join in on the fun!
