Cayamo: A Journey Through Song sets sail for its 19th edition, February 26 - March 5, 2027, aboard the stunning Norwegian Jewel for seven unforgettable days of music, community, and discovery. Departing from Miami and cruising to the breathtaking shores of St. Kitts and St. Maarten, this floating celebration brings together some of the most compelling voices in contemporary roots, folk, and Americana for an experience unlike any other. This year’s journey features extraordinary performances from Jeff Tweedy, Punch Brothers, Molly Tuttle, and more to be announced. Across intimate theaters and sun-soaked decks, you’ll witness one-of-a-kind collaborations, surprise sit-ins, storytelling sessions, and stripped-down sets that can only happen at sea.
By day, explore vibrant island destinations or take part in artist-hosted activities, songwriter conversations, and community guest jams that capture the spirit of Cayamo. By night, immerse yourself in inspired performances surrounded by fellow music lovers who understand that the magic lives in the shared experience. Cayamoan's Open Mic
Cayamo’s Open Mic Sessions are your moment to bare your soul and sing the song that’s in your heart on stage. Whether you're a solo act, a three-piece harmony, or a full band, it’s your time to shine and show the Cayamo Family what you’ve got! We’ll provide backline, microphones, keyboard, electric guitar, electric bass, drum kit, and production assistance—just be sure to bring your own guitar or bass if you prefer, along with any extras like drumsticks or harmonica (and of course your amazing talent). With multiple sessions, there will be plenty of chances to participate. We can’t wait to see the talent you bring to the stage!
Sign-ups begin on board 30 minutes before each session, and we ask that performers go once until everyone who wants a turn has had the opportunity, with second performances welcome as time allows.
Jammers Meetup
Music is everywhere on Cayamo—and sometimes the best moments happen in a spontaneous jam. At the Jammer’s Meetups, you can meet fellow musicians, swap songs, and find new friends to make music with during the cruise.
