What is the Lineup Guarantee?
We know the Cayamo lineup, for many of you, is the most important element of the cruise. When building a festival-style event with so many artists involved, schedules and timing can get pretty complex. Sometimes artists sign on immediately, and sometimes they just can’t commit right away due to touring schedules, family commitments or other opportunities.
This year, we have some incredible artists already confirmed, and will be adding more as time goes on. However, if the lineup just isn’t meeting your expectations before our first payment deadline of June 15, 2012, you can receive a full refund if you choose to cancel your reservation. (Please note we can refund the insurance premium you have paid for the cruise. However, if you have increased your coverage to include airfare or hotels not booked through Sixthman, that additional coverage cost cannot be refunded.) This will allow you to book your cabin now and keep your priority booking privileges, while retaining the option of waiting to see who else we add to the lineup before June 15, 2012.
How does admission to ticketed shows work?
Our goal is to deliver a balanced festival experience that both guarantees you a seat to the events you are most passionate about and the freedom to explore & discover new music during your vacation. We believe that the best opportunity to achieve this balance is by asking guests some general information at the time of booking and then more specific information once the artist line-up is complete, so that we can best customize ticketing to guests' preferences. Guests will be asked at the time of booking to choose a time preference and seating zone for the main shows in the Stardust Theatre. Closer to the cruise, once we have had time to finalize the line-up and work with all the artists to confirm Collaborations, Q & A’s, Photo Sessions and Additional Shows, we will designate which shows in the Stardust Theater will be ticketed. Every guest will receive a ticket to each of these shows based on the seating zone and time preference indicated at the time of booking.
The rest of the shows in the Stardust Theater will be general admission with one section held for reserved seating. Once the schedule is complete, guests will be given a window of time to rank their favorite artists and the events they most want to see from among the shows in the Stardust Theater. We will then assign everyone an additional bonus ticket for a seat in the reserved section for their first available choice. All ticketing is based on guest preferences, and assigned in order of booking date and time.
We ask for your patience while we work to finalize the schedule because neither the specific show times nor the specific performances in the main theater will be released until closer to the cruise.
Expect more information in the coming months about the complete line-up and specifics on how you will rank what is most important to you.
